The music video features Michael performing the song on stage with former Guns N’ Roses members Slash, Gilby Clarke and Guns N’ Roses touring keyboardist Teddy Andreadis at an indoor rock concert. Loud explosions are later heard with volts coming and Michael dances as they run down on his body. The Les Paul of Slash is hit in the frets which causes the speed of the riffs. The last scene shows one volt running down on Michael’s body, an unintentional effect that was left in, for one last time before it fades.

According to Jackson – when he was interviewed by Oprah – it was shot in just about 2 hours. The pyrotechnics appearing on the video are computer generated and were added later on.

1999 – Michael performs at the “Michael Jackson & Friends – The Power of Humanity” two sell-out stadiums spellbound, to a audience capacity of 45,000 in Seoul & 60,000 in Munich; making it The Charity Concert Event of the Year 1999. Among the star friends of MJ were Mariah Carey, Vanessa Mae, Slash, The Scorpions, Ringo Starr, Boyz II Men, Andrea Boccelli, Luther Vandross, Luciano Pavarotti, A. R. Rahman, Prabhu Deva Sundaram, Shobana. The event raised US$ 3.3 million for needy children of the world for “UNESCO”, “Nelson Mandela’s Children’s Fund” and “International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies”. And Michael made history again with the Internet web-cast of “Michael Jackson and Friends”.
